A beautifully romantic story to share this Valentine’s weekend. Just so filled with love on so many levels. It was an absolute joy to be part of Lauren & Justin’s incredible celebration in Georgia recently at the spectacular Ritz Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation. A southern wedding more than a world away from our kimono’s and shrines. With the amount of destination weddings for us this year (from Sydney to Mexico, New Orleans, San Francisco, Guam, back to Japan, Australia & Italy…) having the opportunity to experience so many different cultures, the way people celebrate & love, is just so very special & invaluable. On the back of being named in Signature Weddings Top 30 Wedding photographers of the World (thank you Signature!), it was also an extraordinary honor to be involved as part of Bob & Dawn Davis’s Real Wedding Workshop. The most perfect mentors & friends you could ask for. We owe them just so much… We were delighted to be invited as Nikon assistants and second shooters to Bob, and were truly inspired as always by Bob & Dawn, the gorgeous couple, their fabulous family & friends and all the awesome and talented participants (treasured friends old & new). It was a Southern Wedding with all the trimmings, a spectacular bridal party (the blondtourage), endless emotion, breathtaking details & moments & truly the warmest of hospitality. An epic 3 days of love… Bob & Dawn – thank you always so much… and Lauren & Justin, it was beyond a dream to share in your magical love story…we are wishing you a lifetime of memories as perfect as the start…

No matter where you both photograph weddings either in Japan or abroad you still always have that real, emotional 37 Frames trademark style. It’s always so easy to get lost in your blog for hours. What an absolutely beautiful wedding. Congratulations to the couple. Wishing them much happiness. MG x
