Junebug Weddings : Best of the Best Weddings 2014

Wow. Just wow.  We are beyond thrilled to have TWO 37 Frames images in the prestigious Junebug Weddings Best of the Best 2014 Wedding Collection. What an incredible start to the year…

From thousands & thousands  of contributions worldwide, 60+ countries, meticulously curated and judged by a panel  including Susan Stripling, Jeff Newsome, and Cole Roberts and Jakob Granqvist from Nordica Photography, along with the Junebug Editorial Team. Thank you judges!! And thank you JUNEBUG! Out of all the awards & accolades this one (Junebug BOTB) is so special & poignant as it embraces so many genres of photography & world class photographers. It is truly the one collection we dream of being in each year. Being able to showcase our Japanese and destination weddings via this medium & amongst such a caliber of talent is equally overwhelming.

So just a little on the backstory on our photos…The top image was taken at the new Andaz Hotel Toranomon Hills featuring our beautiful bride Junko.  Many people ask us about language and barriers and this is a great example of how photography transcends those language barriers. Just letting the day and moments unfold without any direction.

The second image taken at Emi and Yoshinori’s beautiful Japanese ceremony at Tokyo’s most iconic shrine – Meiji Jingu. The ceremony and ritual always so special to be a part of and something that we never take for granted.

After a whirlwind start to the year with a stunning wedding on Sydney Harbor last week, we’re now in the US for the next month & cannot wait for this spectacular year ahead…Best of the best…So much more soon….
