In further homage we embarked on creating a collage of 2013 & the amazing people we’ve encountered in front of our cameras…then once we realized (in the wee hours of the morning) our sessions numbered in the high hundreds…we reevaluated…and went just for a fraction. Here are a very few highlights…PLUS once you get to the end our BLACK FRIDAY COLLECTIONS!!!

We LOVE that our clients get the importance and value of beautiful photography, the meaning behind it, the investment and what it will mean 10, 20, 50 years from now. Telling your story, with award-winning imagery in this incredible place we’ve all collided – Japan.
We’ve put together the following collections and specials, of strictly limited numbers, available through to December 20th unless SOLD OUT. Find out how to order below & please note all payments must be remitted in yen via bank transfer.
2013 Wish List Holiday Collections
Collection 1 – The I LOVE Tokyo {by night} Collection
It’s one of our favorite experiences. And the perfect gift for partners, couples. Gift it to your loved one…seriously you will be adored. Forever. It’s our I LOVE Tokyo (by night) Collection. We’re taking on Tokyo after the sun goes down and the lights come on. It’s romantic, energetic, sparkling and a night on the town you WILL remember (in style, without the shocking photos). You are the stars. Take a night off, book a hotel, dress up. Play it out however you like…this is what we’re doing:
- 3 hour night shoot
- 3 iconic, romantic, dazzlingly, bustling, fabulous locations
- 50 high-res fully-edited images on CD
- DVD Slideshow of the evening
- 4A Framed Print
- Transportation included (taxis, trains and more…who know where we’ll end up…)
Your Investment: ¥125,000 (Valued at ¥175,000) Limit 3.
Collection 2 – A Day in the life Collection
Let us tell your Japan Story. Remember the way life is now. Our 37 Frames Day in the Life Experience is one of our most popular photo sessions. We follow you as you experience your day. Visit iconic, special places or if you’re living here then let’s photograph your home, neighborhood, your favorite restaurant, even perhaps a quick karaoke to finish. Visit your local school, the neighborhood park, a the place you had your first kiss, first date, favorite family hang-outs… All the special times here in Japan to be remembered forever.
- A half-day adventure (3 hours)
- 3 Locations
- 37 high-res fully-edited images on CD
- DVD Slideshow
- Upgrades available
Your Investment: ¥85,000 (valued at ¥125,000 from 2014) Limit 5.
Upgrade to the Full Collection, with all the images & a 20-page Fine Art Album for ¥150,000 (usually ¥225,000)
Collection 3 – The Signature 37 Frames Full Session (Session Fee Only)
Secure a signature Full Session in 2013 with an advanced booking. The session fee will secure a date and location of your choice. Full Sessions are 60-90 minutes. Following the session and after viewing the images you may select your photos from our various collections starting at ¥30,000. (We are very flexible on this, there is no pressure to decide beforehand.) Our current pricing list is available upon request. The perfect holiday, thoughtful-anytime & awesome Sayonara gift…
Your Investment: ¥30,000 (Valued at ¥35,000) Limit 10.
Collection 4 – The Upgrade Collection
Not sure when to book your session? No worries, the reservation can wait til next year, but you may want this little special stocking filler for when you do… It’s the upgrade voucher. This option sold out so fast last year and as most of our clients know it’s not easy to narrow down selections…
This upgrade voucher is for 37 additional photos. And can be used for a Mini-Session or for a full life-style session or even transferred over several sessions. Limited to 2 per client.
Your Investment: ¥40,000 (Valued over ¥74,000) Limit 10.
Collection 5 – 37 Frames Custom Gift Vouchers
Give the Gift of Memories with these discounted vouchers which may be used as credit towards 37 Frames session fees, services, collections.
- ¥10,000 Gift Voucher – (for services to the value of ¥15,000)
- ¥30,000 Gift Voucher – (for services to the value of ¥40,000)
- ¥50,000 Gift Voucher – (for services to the value of ¥65,000)
Limit 5 of each.
Collection 6 – The 2014 Mini Session Collections
We are delighted to be able to offer 10 more Collections after our Sell Out Release end of October. (Please make sure to read to the end for further inclusions & conditions.)
The ONLY Way to secure a Mini-Session Booking for 2014 is in a fabulous bundle of 3. The perfect way to tell your Japan story, throughout the year, in every spectacular season at some truly iconic, must-do locations. The 3 Sessions are fully transferable between friends & family. The 3 x Mini-Sessions are on pre-scheduled days & pre-determined locations. See our 2013 line-up here.
Each Mini-Session includes:
• 30 minute session
• 2 photographers: Trace + Dee and/or a 37 Frames Associate Photographer
• 5 high resolution jpeg files to share as you wish (no prints)
• Delivery via email (we are doing away with CD’s from 2014 as some PC’s now do not support this)
• Sneak Peek Slideshow of the session (new inclusion)
• Basic touch-ups
• Private + Password protected online gallery for 5 days
• Upgrade + Custom products available
Your Investment: ¥100,000
(Paid in one installment and again the 3 sessions are fully transferable between family and friends.)
Mini-Session Conditions:
• Payment in full at time of booking, via bank transfer.
• You may split sessions between friends, family, but please pay in one lump sum, no split payments.
• We cannot hold collections for longer than 5 days, after that they will be released…they are only confirmed once we have received payment, on a first come, first served basis.
• Locations will be announced early in 2014. We will be in touch again then. There will be 12 dates to choose from. We are firm on including favorite locations, celebrating the seasons & some fabulous new ones. Sessions will all be based in the Greater Tokyo area.
Special Mini-Session Collection Add-ons, valid through to the end of 2013 only:
• Add an Extra Session to celebrate all 4 Seasons – ¥25,000
• Add a Fine Art 20-page signature 37 Frames Album – ¥25,000 (usually ¥50,000)
The perfect way to record your year. This will be designed at the end of our year together. A beautiful keepsake, which is presented as a chic, lay-flat magazine style hard-cover album, with a fully customizable slide-up bookcase. Matt laminate, museum grade archival paper.
• Full Collection Add-on for all 3 sessions – ¥100,000 (usually ¥80,000 per session)
Purchase the Full Collection (+100) images from each of the 3 sessions for this heavily discounted rate.

Loved our time with you and the family. We will pull a photo from each and every shoot for our end of year review… which is what we were hoping to do for this. But at 4am I realized that it might have to be an ongoing project. I’m very curious to know what our year looks like in pics.
