Tokyo Portrait Photographers : A Kimono Goodbye…

“A farewell is necessary before you can meet again.  And meeting again, after moments or lifetime, is certain for those who are friends.”  ~ Richard Bach

A delightful sayonara session to feature today…Just a few highlights from this very special experience. We have loved documenting this family during their time in Japan. It has been such an honor and we cannot thank them enough for the privilege, for always welcoming us so warmly & for all they have done for Japan. We wish them the very best in their new post…Our finale in Tokyo was an ethereal late winter afternoon, in the private garden, with stunning light and simply exquisite kimonos on loan from one of Japan’s most historical families. It was a glimpse into the past, with all the getting ready touches & customs, while always looking forward. An only-in-Japan encounter shared with the treasured household, friends & family. A fitting way to remember it all…
