37 Frames : Entering the Unknown + coming back…

“Once you choose hope, anything’s possible.” ~ Christopher Reeves

We are currently in a room full of TED’s in Tokyo entering the unknown. Make sure to join us online here for all the ideas worth sharing and more.

It’s a day dedciated to exploring  practical and inventive ways of rebuilding and renewing Japan, and uplifting the spirit of its people. Always thinking about Tohoku. We are all so ready.  The people, the hope, we have told a couple of their stories, they have taught us all life lessons – strength in dark times.  We went to Tohoku with the intention to help as many as we could. However, it was the people of North Eastern Japan that in fact gave us much more in return. We are looking forward to today as an inspiring step forward, hope in hearts, momentum in abundance. For as long as it takes.

We will also get back to sharing our own stories too. Tales from the road. We’re teasing a little today, the allure of travel, getting ready to share the remaining characters and colors from our most recent landscape adventures. Taking time to remember the journey as much as the destination. Death Valley is next. A most incredible revisit from earlier this year. Before shakes, waves and unleashed, unrestrained nature. A lunar scape, mixed with a stunning desert palette, mountain ranges rimmed with winter’s final snows and that deep, dramatic slash of a valley.

It was certainly a departure from the surreal scape of Mono Lake, the majestic National Park crown jewel Yosemite and the colours and sights of San Fran. If you missed the other stops on the road to WPPI 2011 in Vegas make sure to take a little u-turn to get up to speed.

Dreaming away today, we’ll see you here on the blog in a little bit for the full story.
